Service accounts allow you to access lead exports via our API without using a standard user account.

Create a service account

1. Go to the ‘Service accounts’ menu in the administration menu (available after speaking with a sales account manager at TraceParts).

2. Click on ‘Create a service account’.

3. (Optional) If you have multiple contracts, you can choose the dataset linked to the service account.

4. Choose your password.

⚠️ Important: the password is only available when it is created. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new password.

Use a service account to access the API

Once the account has been created, use the credentials provided to call our lead export API.
The information will be available in the application when the service account is created.

Manage and revoke a service account

In the Service Account menu, you can:

View the list of existing accounts
Regenerate a service account
Delete an account when it is no longer in use
Change a password
