Content of an analytical view

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

Analytical views are interfaces containing the “Catalog” and “Audience” menus.

The data displayed in the analytical views are collected in real time.

Data time zone

The data displayed in the analytical view pages are based on the time zone where signed-in users are located and which is being used by their device, whether a PC, tablet or smartphone.

Graphical view of the primary dimension

Main chart of analytical view

These analytical views always call a primary dimension (A). The primary dimension corresponds to a specific data type, such as the part numbers in the CAD files.

Users can manipulate all the primary dimensions in the analytical views with a customizable time variable or a filter for adding a secondary dimension.

By default, the data display is set to the “All segments” segment (B). However, users can change this selection and define the segment(s) that they wish to display.

The first item in each analytical view is a chart (C). By default, this chart displays all the segments for the contract(s) associated with the user’s account over the last seven days.

Secondary dimension and other analytical views

The second item displayed by default in each analytical view is a table,

which can be used to view the variation (as a number and percentage) in the data for the primary dimension in comparison to the previous period.

A secondary dimension can be added to specify the data in the primary dimension. Just like the primary dimension, the secondary dimension is another characteristic of the data.

The data display can be changed to a:

  • Vertical bar chart
  • Horizontal bar chart
  • Tree map
  • Pie chart
